Live Ambient

Live Ambient is a journey through the night. Delicate sound maps offer alternative pathways mimicking physical journeys.

Costas Andreou, with his fretless electric bass as his co-creator, constructs visual mirages and figmental worlds born directly from the instrument, without anything being pre-recorded.

The quality of his sound and the atmospheres created by the organic combinations of his compositions lead the listener to swim through worlds where they can feel the slightest change in currents.

He meticulously connects layered sound levels and feelings, sensitively harmonizing underground sounds to make Live Ambient a music concert with unequivocal theatricality.

The concert is available with sound design for immersive audio, from stereo to surround such as 5.1.4, 11.1.4 and other 3D audio and Ambisonics versions.

Performances

The concert Live Ambient by Costas Andreou has been presented at Fournos Theatre (Mavromichali 168, Athens) on 7 and 8 January 2019, on 19 and 26 October 2018 and on 15 December 2017, at Art Theatre Karolos Koun (Frinichou 14, Plaka) on 21 April 2016 and at Poli Theatre (Athens) on 10 October 2015.
